Justin Alex is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in Personal Injury, Wills and Estate Law, Real Estate and Business Law, and a wide range of litigation. Since founding his own law firm in 2004, Mr. Alex has remained steadfast in his commitment to providing diligent, effective, and professional representation for his clients. His practice is focused on achieving the best possible results for clients, offering high-quality legal services at a reasonable rate. He was pleased to continue these goals with his longtime colleague and friend, Michael J. LaFleur, when they established the law firm Alex & LaFleur.
Throughout his career, Mr. Alex has represented clients in various courts across Maryland and Pennsylvania, including the District and Circuit Courts of Maryland and the Magisterial and Common Pleas Courts of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Alex graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jurisprudence and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2003.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Alex serves as the President of Galaxy Settlements, a prominent real estate title insurance and settlement services company. Galaxy Settlements manages a broad spectrum of residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania. He has been involved in the real estate title industry since 2006.
Mr. Alex has also contributed to the academic community as an associate faculty member at Notre Dame of Maryland University, where he teaches courses in the “Legal Environment of Business” and “Legal Issues in Human Resources and Management” for both undergraduate and graduate business programs.
An avid sports enthusiast, Mr. Alex enjoys both playing and coaching lacrosse. He is currently the head coach of the Kennard Dale High School Rams boys lacrosse team in Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania.
Above all, Justin takes great pride in being the devoted husband of Carol, and the father of sons Ryan and Aiden. He is also eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first grandchild
